7:00 PM: Vans’ new streaming platform Channel 66 announced another good one: rising songwriter Nnamdï Ogbonnaya is teaming up with The Sea and Cake’s Sam Prekop, presented by the Empty Bottle in Chicago.
6:00 PM: Real good lo-fi garage rocker Ron Gallo is ready to play Rough Trade’s Instagram.
8:00 PM: Julien Baker and Gerard Way (of My Chemical Romance) participate in ‘Sound Mind Live,’ a virtual mental health concert and panel moderated by clinical psychologist, Dr. Mike Friedman.
10:00 PM: Indie rock legend Liz Phair is doing a full livestream performance with a post show Q & A. Tickets on sale now at a very phair price (sic!).
6:00 PM: Fuzzy rockers Cloud Nothings play good jams from their upcoming album The Shadow I Remember on Rough Trade’s Instagram.
8:00 PM: Celebrated indie rocker Mary Timony (Ex Hex / Helium) plays Bandcamp live.
3:00 PM: The Hold Steady are doing two big time shows live from Brooklyn Bowl (sans the crowd). Killer livestreams almost killed me.
6:00 PM: Tune in to a conversation between icon Kim Gordon and artist Kim Heecheon, presented by the Empty Bottle.
9:00 PM: Indie popsters Tokyo Police Club celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album Champ by playing it in full on Bandcamp. Tickets on sale now.
2:30 AM: For those getting up real early or going to bed real late, Japanese punk band Shonen Knife to play live from Osaka, the first livestream performance for these indie rock greats.
3:00 PM: Sprawling London collective Black Country, New Road doing a full show via DICE. They’re gonna be big. Tickets on sale now.
8:00 PM: Montreal indie vets The Dears present their first full-band livestream show, with string quartet, since the release of their latest album Lovers Rock.
7:00 PM: The Alternative is hosting a livestream party featuring real solid up-and-comers Oceanator, Proper., Record Setter, Bad Moves, Long Neck, Adult Mom and more goodness.
