5:00 PM: Knock out Japanese punk band Otoboke Beaver to rip through an Oculus VR show. Gonna be real fun.
8:00 PM: The (virtual) lineup for Goose Island’s annual ‘312 Day’ is excellent this year with Chicago up-and-comers Beach Bunny, OHMME, Ganser and Sen Morimoto set to perform. Beer.
9:00 PM: Bandsintown hosts Japanese Breakfast and CHAI tonight. Plus lots more just announced from the likes of WhitneyPortugal. The Man, LP, Devendra Banhart, The Microphones (Mount Eerie) and more.
11:00 PM: Girlpool are slated to stream live for the first Sustain The Scene event benefiting shuttered independent venues in Los Angeles.
3:00 PM: Jangly Britpop legends The Wedding Present doing a full show live from Brighton. Tickets on sale now via DICE.
3:00 PM: Cali rockers Bad Suns perform live from the Lodge Room (LA).
6:00 PM: The Roots are doing a full-band VR jam session via Oculus with some surprise guests set to sign on.
8:00 PM: A livestream benefit for Bushwick venue, Our Wicked Lady, is happening this Saturday and Sunday with sets by local up-and-comers Hnry Flwr, New Myths, Sharkswimmer, Razor Braids and more.
11:00 PM: Doug Martsch of Built to Spill is doing a special late night livestream solo acoustic set on Saturday to benefit the Free Eats Project.
2:00 PM: Celebrated indie rocker Mary Timony (Ex Hex / Helium) plays Bandcamp live (rebroadcast).
